House Facelift Update

Over the long weekend, I did quite a bit of work on the front of the house.  I repainted all of our exterior lights from aged white to metallic black.

Here are the light bases of the lights.  Yea.... I was lazy and did not detach the lights from the house.  I just did a good job of covering up the house to keep the overspray in check.

Here are all 6 light globes disassembled and all the parts repainted.

Here is the finished results!  This is the center light and the house light in the back ground.

The garage light base.

Large door light.

With globe.

I have always wanted a house with a bright red door....

Here is my dream door with a 5-year-old dressed in winter pajamas blocking the view.  Niko loves fleece PJs.... yea.  It is over 90 degrees outside.

And my new door.

Lots of work left to do....  I repainted the front door, light fixtures and all of the trim I could reach with my ladders.   The rest will have to be done when I get the scaffolding.
