Vaccine questions

Niko is scheduled for his first round of vaccines in 2 weeks. I must admit I am a bit concerned about the link between Autism and vaccines recently. I have my list of questions to ask before they stick him with anything.

It's interesting that Europe and Asia have very different schedules for vaccinations. They don't give some of the vaccinations until the children are 12 that we give at 18 months.

Any thoughts on this?

I was nervous about vaccines after Isaak had meningitis. He had his vaccine for meningitis a week before he got meningitis. Mica got his staph infection a week after he got his vaccine shots. I was thinking that my kids were getting these weird illnesses from their vaccines. Every doctor told me it wasn't possible. Mica did have an ear infection on the same side as his staph, so I'm thinking he got it though the infection. Isaak could of gotten his illness from the doctor's office, his binky was another thought (I could of set it down on a table or something that had it). I'm a pretty clean person, so it's weird that I've had two kids get so sick. I think them both having vaccine's before their illnesses was just a coincidence.

My mom was one of the last post polio survivors, I do want to protect my kids from getting something nasty like that.

As far as autisim goes. They are linking that to a lot of food dies. Red food die is the worst.

I do understand your concern, but I think that they have ruled out the link from vaccines to autisim.
