Niko had his first bottle today. I was worried that he would be fussy about it and not want to take it. Niko's doctor and all of the books said that he would not take it if I was in the room. Yea right. He went to town on that bottle with me sitting 3 feet away.
This is the outfit that my brother's girlfriend, Lacie gave Niko. Yea... it says 6 months on it.
This week I have noticed that Niko has started to watch TV. Yea.... pretty sure that's against all the parenting books I have read.
He loves watching Neil play Little Big Planet. The backgrounds are very colorful and the music is fun and upbeat. We are rotting his brain at 9 weeks.
Our warm fall is coming to an end. It's time to bundle up before we go out!
I rocked the vote so hard that I fell asleep.
Niko had his 2 month check-up today. He now measures at 24" long and weights 12 pounds, 11 ounces. That puts his height near the 90th percentile and his weight near the 60th percentile - he's a big boy.
He also got his first round of immunizations. It was really hard to watch him get those injections - he looked at me with such betrayal. There are several more heart-wrenching immunization rounds to go.
Niko is sort-of sitting up in his green chair. He can sit up for about 3 minutes, then he slumps over to one side. He's officially out of all of his 0-3 clothes - they are just too short for him. Daddy put him in his "Daddy Rocks" shirt one last time... he couldn't fit him in it and snap the top shut.Tomorrow is his 2 month check-up . . . I'm a nervous about the injections. I have my list of questions and I'm ready to get my answers before any shots.
