I know what I'm getting Niko for his fall shoes!!!
As much as I love him... it's really gross to watch him eat watermelon. He will make it his dinner if you let him!
That's me tooting my own horn.
I have been writing for the Kansas City Star's Mom2Mom blog for over a year now. I write for them once a week and every 2 months my column is in the Tuesday FYI section of the paper. (The featured writers are rotated in the paper version of the column.) I don't get paid for this column, it's a resume piece more than anything.
I am super excited to announce that Mom2Mom won first place in American Association of Sunday and Feature Editors’ Excellence-in-Feature-Writing Contest. The blog placed first place in the social media enterprise category. This is kinda a big deal in newspaper world and I am proud to be a part of the team that won this award. Here's a link to today's announcement: http://www.aasfe.org/blog/?p=266 Scroll down to the last division see the award. The awards are given in three divisions, determined by newspaper circulation size. Our division is the largest circulation size (more than 200,000), which means we compete against the big dogs, like the NY Times, Washington Post, L.A. Times, etc.Sweet!!!
Isn't this thing adorable? I bought this step stool for him last weekend and he knows what to do with it! He pushes it around and is now more dangerous than ever!
Mmmm... Looks good. I was wondering where that pot went to...
Her name is Dora the Explorer. And Niko can't get enough of her.
Netflix has over 60 streaming episodes to choose from... thank goodness. It's pretty funny because he says, "Oh Man" and tries to snap his fingers like Swiper the fox. He sings the opening and dances at the end. Too funny!
We have moved up from the clip on chair to the booster seat. I would just have him sit in the regular chair, but I need to strap him in or he wants to walk around while he eats. I think I'm going to try to find a cuter seat though... this is my travel one.

I picked up this tiger bubble blower from Target on clearance. He loves it... when he lets it work. He likes to stick his finger in the hole and it doesn't works so well when he does that.
