Enamel Hypoplasia

So we learned something new over the past few weeks.  We now know all about Enamel Hypoplasia. Ryker was born without enamel on his back molars.  This is a type of birth defect in which the enamel on Ryker's back teeth didn't form correctly in the womb. To be honest, out of all of the things that could go wrong when a baby forms, I will take this problem.   Although problematic, modern dentistry can help provide a semi-permanent solution.

Recovering with Mommy.  It took two sessions, but he now has caps on his back molars and hopefully when his permanent teeth come in, they will be normal.

Niko-chan!
 

Niko was awarded the Christian Character Award for Creativity and the Class Sweetheart Award... yea....  his teacher told us she had to award that to him.  When he sees girls, she can see the hearts dancing around his head.  Trouble.
 

Niko earned on of the school's highest academic awards!  He graduated with a 96% GPA and was awarded an Academic Excellence trophy!   YAYAYAYAYY!!!!

We Love Public Works!

It is no secret that I love Public Works.  We attended the Blue Springs Public Works Week Celebration event last night.   The boys had a GREAT time!

One of the joys of living on a cul-de-sac is that the boys get to bike and scoot all day without worry of traffic.  Yay!
