Trick-or-Treat Main Street

Pika-chuuuuuuuuuu!!!!!  Look how happy he is to be Pikachu!   We attended the Blue Springs Trick-or-Treat Main Street event again this year.  This was the first time Ryker was really old enough to join in the fun.

McD's With Friends

It was too cold to go to Penguin Park with Monca's kids so we headed to McD's instead.  Ryker has gotten very good at climbing to the top of the play structure.   Big thanks to Max who helped Ryker get all the way to the top!

Happy Birthday Great Grandma 'O'!

Great Grandma 'O' turned 101 this week!  WOW!!!  We attended her birthday party on Saturday.  She really wanted to hold Ryker-kun, but he is pretty squirmy so Godmother Shelly held on to him instead.
 

Niko had a lot of fun playing with the white board.  He played hangman with Godfather Mark with is Sight Words.
 

Then we got down to business....  Mark cleaned the floor with the boys... and they loved it.

Making Cookies

This was every bit as stressful as I thought it would be.  Not so much Niko, he's a pro, but Ryker-kun was a crazy, cookie-dough-eating-machine.  Once he got the hang of it, he did really well with cutting out the cookies!

Frosting!  Ryker did a great job!  Niko really wanted to make sure the cookies were well coated... and he delivered.

Yard Work

Fall has arrived... and it is all over our yard.  We spent Sunday raking the front yard with our 'helpers.'

The boys loved it when Neil blew the leaves on them.

Six-Year-Old Exam

Niko had his 6-year-old exam yesterday.  He is a healthy boy!  He is 46" tall (58%) and 48 lbs. (65%.)   I can't believe the weight percentage.... he is super skinny!  Here he is dreading his flu shot... BUT WAIT!  They had the flu mist instead!  YAYAYAY!!!

 

Ryker-kun came with us to get his flu vaccine as well.  The doctor's office had not received their flu vaccine supply when we visited last month.

Muffins With Mom

Yesterday was Muffins With Mom at Niko & Ryker's school.  A neat little event that allows us moms to have breakfast with the kiddos at school.  Here's Niko with his chocolate muffin.
