New bathroom lights

Old crappy brass lights.

New lights that match the new faucet in the room. Neil and Monica were my lovely assistants as I swapped them out last night.

New Grill

YEA!!! We are grown-up homeowners now. This is our Mother's/Father's Day present to each other. We didn't really grill a lot at our old house because the deck was off the downstairs livingroom so you had to carry your raw meat all over the house. Yuck.

The new house has a deck right off the kitchen - much nicer!!!

Bye-bye ugly wallpaper

Monica is back with us again and she has been hard at work in our bathroom! I mentioned that I would like to de-wallpaper our bathroom sometime and I came home to a great headstart!

She unearthed the original boarder to the bathroom.... 80's ducks.

I plan to make this a super nerdy bathroom... and Super is the correct word! :) Stay tuned!

Lawn mower fun

We went to Lowes to get a new grill, but all Niko was interested in was lawn mowers. Let's see if he's still excited in about 12 years when he's able to mow the lawn.

We are supposed to be able to pick up the new grill sometime today.... yea!

Apple Store

We went to the Apple Store over the weekend to pick up a new baby... so nice. Niko enjoyed the two kids stations at the store - and we did too. I forgot the stroller.... Doh!

Shelly's ring

Here are a few photos of Shelly's engagement ring. Our friend Travis did an EXCELLENT job on it. Wow... I love my ring, but I kinda wish Travis would have done an awesome custom job for me too!!!

Neil and I are so excited and honored to be in their wedding. Two of our best friends are marrying each other - how cool is that?

Hissy-fit

Niko is obsessed with going in the basement. We have a baby slide and little rider down there and he just loves it. Here he is throwing a hissy-fit about not being able to go down there right this second.

On a brighter note, he loves Batman..... and so it begins!

Niko was going through some photo galleries on Facebook yesterday morning. It's pretty scary how early they start! :)

Easter 2010

We went to visit my sister's family for Easter this year. It was really nice seeing my sister's family, mom, dad, brother and my brother's girlfriend, Lacie again.
