Puffs

We have discovered Puffs.  The Easter bunny brought them, but he wasn't really ready for them until now.  He gets all excited when I shake the canister.... like a dog for treats.

Pull-up

We are pulling ourselves up on pretty well now.  He figured it out a couple of days ago and now he's doing it to everything!

Niko is crawling!

Niko has been "scooting" for quite a while but we are now text-book crawling.  The scary thing is he is starting to pull himself up on things already!  We need to move ASAP!

Easter Sunday

Easter Bunny's basket

We had a lot of fun on Easter.  We went out to brunch with Aunt Shelly's parents then went to visit our Abuleo and Abuela.  The Easter Bunny left us some balls, bath toys, a Domo doll and biter biscuits.  Aunt Shelly and Godfather Mark gave us a basket with a stuffed gator, food and a new hat.  Abuelo and Abuela gave us some new toys and two new outfits.

Zoo Saturday

Saturday was a beautiful day here in KC so we decided to play at the Zoo.  We have become members of the zoo so we plan to go every month or so.  Niko really didn't know what was going on most of the time, but he did watch the tigers.  They were walking back and forth and he was definitely watching them through the bars.

Two teeth!

This is horrible photo, but he makes it difficult for me to get a good shot of those teeth!

Niko has be Mr. Grumpy-pants for the last couple of days.  He got his first tooth last week and his second tooth yesterday.  He has been refusing to eat at daycare... only wanting to nurse.   From talking to other moms I hear that's common.  He's also been on the snotty side.... from what I hear that's common too.

Hat parade

I love the fact that Niko lets me put hats on him.... well so far.  This is a hat from Niko's Abuelo who got it for him when he went to Peru.  

We will see how Niko likes hats when I dress him up for the next Con....

Cruise director

Shelly's mom picked up this super-cute summer hat for Niko when they were on vacation.  He looks so adorable with that huge gash he put in his nose....  pirate style.

Up high!

Niko enjoys riding around on daddy's shoulders.  Look at him pull that hair --- that is why daddy does shoulder rides and not mommy!  :)

Trouble

Here come trouble.  He still isn't "crawling" in the traditional sense, but he definitely gets around.  The shiny receiver and DVD player are too tempting to ignore.

Big boy car seat!

We actually put this in about a week ago, but our house was still in shambles and our computer wasn't hooked up.  Niko loves his new seat - his legs were just way too long for the old infant seat anymore!  We packed up the infant seat for Niko's future brother or sister!  :)
