"Man" Shower

On Saturday, we had a "Man" Shower for Neil (and I). We are kinda known for our video game nights - this was our last one for a while so we went out with a bang.

Totoro boards

Neil has begun work on the Totoro hanging boards. These will hang over the baby's changing station.... and will probably frighten him to death.

Baby Shower!

On Saturday I had my baby shower. It was thrown by one of my best friends, Alyssa. It "showered" on my shower and I was told that's a good luck sign.... I hope so! My mom and dad came in from Chicago and my sister and her family came in from Clarksville. As you can see, my livingroom was packed!

Totoro bedding finished and installed!

The bedding is done and installed. I'm pretty happy with the final results. I know he won't be able to use the bed quilt until he's older, but I wanted to make a complete set. Neil is currently working on the Totoro wall hangings that will be over the changing station. I'll upload photos when he actually starts production.

Totoro Bedding is Done!

Tonight I finally finished the Totoro bedding. Sewing the shamrocks took longer than I thought, but I am pretty happy with the results. I'll take some photos of the installed bedding when I get it all back together.

Nerd Weekend

Here is the much requested "bump" photo. This is a photo of my brother and I at our annual Chicago-Con trip. So much nerd, so little time. I usually go in costume, but I was worried that I would get over heated and turn into crabby pants. It was quite different going to a 3-day con being 8 months pregnant. Magnus and I survived though - he was moving and groving all over. He must have been excited to be at his first con.
