We went to the pumpkin patch this weekend! The weather was beautiful - even a bit warm, but the weather can turn on a dime here so off to the patch!

Picking out pumpkins. We didn't make it to the actual patch. After two hours of playing, someone was really getting grumpy so we opted for picking out pumpkins at the exit.
One last photo before we go.
This is a tough post to write. Heaven gained an Angel on Monday afternoon, as our long-time friend and babysitter, Cozy passed away. I have known Cozy for over 12 years and watched her grow up and start her own childcare business.
She was truly gifted with children and watched our kids for us when we needed her services. She was too young to leave us, at the young age of 24. She suffered an aortic aneurysm on Sunday night and although we thought they had caught it in time, she passed away from complications. Neil and I attended her services this morning.

Yea.... this is terrifying. Ryker is quite the climber. He went up this ladder most of the afternoon.

This is what every night looks like lately in my world. I am trying to cook, Ryker-kun wants to be held. (Did I mention he is 32 pounds?!??!?! My back!!!!)
Sigh.... So we have been eating a lot of crockpot meals/sandwiches. I get about 5-10 minutes of prep/cook time before we meltdown.
The weather here has been beautiful sooo.... Penguin Park, here we come!
They have installed some new play structures like this alligator.
But they still have Ryker's kitty cat.
Yup.... super late in posting these. Niko lost his first tooth Friday, August 29. The Tooth Fairy had to reroute her prior plans to visit Niko a Tia Maria's house! Niko got 5 gold coins for his tooth.
